The theme of the panel is on utilising ‘making’ skills towards good. Speakers will discuss the considerations around how to go about doing it, and how to contribute towards greater inclusivity and accessibility in maker culture and in wider society.

Joel Cutcher-Gershenfeld is a professor in the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, where he leads research on agile institutions and teaches classes on strategy and operations. Joel is an award-winning author, and has most recently co-authored Designing Reality: How to Survive and Thrive in the Third Digital Revolution.
